Its main product is new knowledge and new existence. Knowledge is reusable. There is effectively an unlimited amount of it to discover. We learn to do more and more for people for less and less. The Internet brings the world to the individual, and the individual to the world from anywhere in the world almost instantaneously. Distance between people is eliminated. Nearly everyone participates and benefits. It is an economy of plenty for nearly everyone in the world.

The peace is necessary because nearly all people, directly or indirectly, gain their livelihood from the global economy. They cannot allow the machines that make it possible, the computer, communications and transportation networks, to be broken by war and violence.  Global peace is an economic necessity.

Mass creativity is the engine of the new global economy. This means opportunity for creativity and self expression for the masses, because the new economy needs them to be individually creative with its huge appetite for new knowledge, products and services.

The global knowledge economy requires a new partnership between rich and poor. The rich provide the capital intensive infrastructure, the machines. The masses provide the creativity. Neither knows how the other does it, nor can nor can hire it done, so they must be partners. Since new value is created constantly with the new knowledge, the rich get richer and the poor get richer. The rich get richer by getting a small part of each of the billions of transactions everyday. The poor get richer by selling their creativity. Redistribution of wealth is not so necessary, because the knowledge economy provides direct distribution of wealth to the individuals who create the new knowledge.

This new global knowledge economy also means harmony and wholeness for the individual. It provides a growing number of new opportunities for each individual to live his or her fulfillment as a whole person.

The old agricultural and industrial economies required mass obedience among the people, and therefore intimidated creativity among the people. The new global knowledge economy thrives on and encourages mass creativity among the people, and that changes the culture of the world from many competing dominator cultures to a global partnership culture.

Difference is honored and respected, because vast variety is needed to satisfy the tastes of billions of consumers, to keep the economy vital and robust. Many of the traditional conflicts between groups are reconciled to produce a new global harmony.  It is a necessary and welcome harmony to make the global knowledge economy work, and keep it strong.
